what is Lead Acid Battery

แบตเตอรี่ ตะกั่วกรดเป็น แบตเตอรี่ แบบชาร์จได้ที่เก่าแก่ที่สุด ประดิษฐ์ขึ้นมา โดย Gaston Plante’ นักฟิสิกส์ชาวฝรั่งเศสตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ.1859

ประโยชน์ของแบตเตอรี่ โดยมากมักจะนําไปใช้ใน 3 Application

1. Standby Application or float service application เพื่อใช้งานสํารองไฟฟ้าในกรณีไฟฟ้าขัดข้อง เช่น UPS, Rectifier เป็นต้น
2. Motive Application ใช้กับรถยนต์ ยานพาหนะ ต่าง ๆ
3. Starting Lighting Ignition(SLI) for automotive application ช่วยในการจุด Start

ประเภทของ Lead Acid Battery

1. แบบเปียก (Flood type)
2. แบบแห้ง (AGM, Gel) โดยแบ่งออกเป็น
   - SLA (Sealed Lead Acid)
   - VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid)
